THE CHILDREN'S CARNIVAL.
Sir,—l would like to inform "Well Wisher" that the Commerce Street retailers were canvassed for subscriptions and contributed to the ▼ Carnival Funds. They are thus entitled to some'participation in the> i management of the events of the Carnival. Evidently "Well Wisher" is a hard shelled Strand Retailer and takes a very narrow view of things. Yours etc.,, ■ ANOTHER (Fair) WEIg^VISHER.
