MAORIS CONVICTED Appearing beiorc Justices in the Whakatane Police Court on Saturday, a Maori known ast Sonny Davis pleaded guilty to a charge, of theft of a shovel valued at 13/(>. Davis was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence AA'ithin six months if called upon.
