VALEDICTORY
PRESENTATIONS TO MR ALEXANDER ALLEN At the conclusion of the Christmas service in the Knox Presbyterian Church on Sunday evening a: valedictory social was tendered to Mr Alexander Allen, who is Reaving Whakatane to take up residi4j» in. Auckland. References to Mr Allen's contributions towards the progress of the Knox Presbyterian Church in . the district were made by the Clerk of Session, Mr R. Hill, and by the Rev* H. Hogg. A presentation of an inscribed silver entree dish was made. Opportunity was also taken, farewell Mr Ray Ferry, who leaves shortly for service with the' R.N.Z.A.F.
