C. Jarrett, chief poultry instructor, Department of Agriculture). At 8 p.m. in the Borough Chambers Mr Jarrett , will lecture on all phases of- poultry breeding, rearing and care and will illustrate by means of moving pictures. An invitation to be present is extended to club members, fanciers and all interested. PRESENTATION MADE «C> PIG COUNCIL SUPERVISOR FAREWELLED At the meeting of the Bay of Plenty District Pig Council on Friday opportunity was taken by the executive to farewell Mr John R. Reeinberg, the council's ' supervisor. A presentation was made to Mr Reenberg of an inscribed watch. POULTRY CLUB ANNUAL MEETING HELD • ELECTION OF OFFICERS The 10th annual general meeting of the Bay of Plenty Poultry, Pig- 1 , eon and- Cage-Bird Club was held on Thursday evening, Mr R. F. Smith presiding. Election of officers for the yeai resulted:— Patron: Mr A. Haj r ter. President: Mr R. F„ Smith. Hon. Secretary: Mr li. R. Jackson. Committee: Additional to office holders, Messrs McLaren, "Iv. Hanham, J. Waterhouse, A. G. Allan, A. Haultain, G. Booth and W. S. Woods. New members elected were Messrs W. .McFarlane, W. Emery and G. Wood (Opotiki). . Other items from the meeting, together with the president's report, will be published on Wednesday. LECTURE A LECTURE On poultry breeding, rearing anil care will be givon in the Borough Chambers on Wednesday evening, December 4tli, at 8 p.m., by Mr Ei. C.
