DRAMA EVENING PLAY-READINGS GIVEN Two plays and a duologue were staged by the ladies ef the Drama Circle on Monday night last. The first play was called "Shall We Leave the Gentlemen?" For this the cast was dressed in Victorian period costumes. Emmeline, Mrs FletcherCole; Annabel, Mrs D. Pearse; Alice, Mrs C, Thomas; Gelia, Mrs Vercoe; Grandmamma, Miss C'arlyon. The next play was "Window Pains." Those in this were: Mrs Watson,, Mrs J. Riddel 1; Nan, Miss D>. Boon; Meg, Miss, B. Allan; Miss Purvis, Mrs Otley; Miss J. Parker, Mrs Moricc; Miss G. Parker, Mrs C. Southey; Miss Simpson, Mrs Appleby. A duologue called "A Brown Paper Parcel" was performed by Mrs Boswell and Mrs Vercoe. Supper was afterwards scrvetl. In the audience were Mrs R. Boon, Mrs: Booth, Mrs Runciman,, Mrs C. Walker and Miss Whiteside.
