CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
Tomorrow evening a meeting of businessmen will be held for the purpose of re-introducing the Chamber of Commerce, a useful organisation which two years ago faded out owing to lack of interest and objectives. The move to reinstate it is governed by the desire of many in the town to grapple with questions which definitely concern its progress Citizens desire to create the machinery whereby they may have a voice in the subjects which concern the town from time to time. They desire to mould the course of public administration by co-operation with the local authorities. They also desire to improve their town by active interest or practical example. At the present time they are denied this outlet and it is with the idea in mind of re-creating it that tomorrow's meeting is called. All interested are asked to attend the Borough Council Chambers at 7.30. p.m.
