Petrol for Farm. Business. received from Several branches regarding difficulties said to have been experienced by farmers in obtaining adequate . supplies of petrol for essential farm business, states a Press communique = from the Farmers' Union (Auckland) From the information at the dis- • posal of the Executive it appeared that there is little reason for such, difficulties to arise, in view of the reasonable attitude taken up by the Commissioner of Oil Fuel. Provision had been made for the setting up of advisory committees in all centres, and for adequate farmers' representation on these. It was agreed by the meeting that if farmers were finding trouble in • getting- - petrol for essential business they should either make representations to their local committees, or, where such committees did not already exist, ask for them to be set up.i Where this is done, it'will be found " that no reasonable application will' fail. ■ ■ - :."i --' 'j -'V ' -
