Ladiess On Saturday tlie 19tli the final for Mrs Haytcr's trophy will be played. The draw is as follows:— Mrs Syinmans plays Mrs King; Mrs Jarrett plays Miss Rac; Mrs Fowle,r plays Mrs Mulholland; Miss Old. plays Miss Woods; Mrs Jackson plays Mrs Delves; Mrs Wheeler plays Miss White; Mrs Lyndon plays Miss Graham; Mrs Stone plays Miss Ainsford; Miss Cain plays Mrs Gwynne; Miss Philpott plays Mrs Griffen. The final for the Senior Cham- 1 pionsliip proved a great tussle between N. V. Greager and O. M. Nicliolls—going to the 38tli where Nicholls won, ope up. At the 18th Greager was 2 up; The course is now open to visitors previous to the annual Labour Day tournament. A HOLE IN ONE The honour most coveted of all golfing flukes, a hole in one, fell to the ladies section of the Tauranga Golf Club last week-end, when Miss Rachel Baker holed her tee shot at the short 12th, "The Knoll," Apart from this honour. Miss Baker has also earned the singular distinction of-being the first lady member of the Tauranga Club to hole her tee shot on the club's course. To commemorate this feat, the ladies have decided to make a presentation to Miss Baker of an engraved silver goblel. .
