WHAKATANE LADIES' GOLF
CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS The finals of the Whakatane Ladies Golf Club's t Championships were played on Friday. In the A Grade, over 36 holes, Miss Black defeated Mrs Farmer 3 and 1. This was a keen contest. In the B section, Mrs Dawson beat Mrs Fraser and in the G division, Mrs Standriri beat Mrs C. Wilson. On Wednesday a match w r ill be played between the President's and Captain's teams. Following are the players, with, President's mentioned first in each case-:'— \ Miss Black v Mrs Bullard; Mrs Steele v Mrs Farmer; Mrs E. Armstrong v Mrs Sloane; Mrs Buddie v Mrs Boon; Mrs A. Smith v Mrs Dawson; Mrs Otley v Mrs Fraser; Mrsj Spence v Mrs Timbs; Mrs Winstone v Mrs T.. Smith; Mrs Hayward v Mrs Graeff; Mrs Donaldson v Mrs Gray; Mrs Pearse v Mrs G. Arm-' strong; Mrs Standrin v Mrs P'owdrell; Mrs Ker v Mrs Morpeth; Mrs Eggers v Mrs C. Wilson. Ringers will be accepted . from these cards, Saturday players' to arrange own partners.
