MEETING ON WEDNESDAY The Whakatane Fire Board met in the Borough Chambers on Wednesday. With Mr S. S. Shapley in the chair, the attendance of Mr F.. B, Cutler, Mr R. W. Schofield (Gov eminent nominee), Messrs M. Cumin in gs anil It.-A. Wilson (Insurance Companies nominees), Mr D. V. Saunders, seci*etary, and Mr F. H. Stewart, Superintendent, constituted a full Board.
