UNUSUAL CROP
MUSHROOMS ABOUNDING Very much out of season, usually flourishing from February to April, a crop of mushrooms has made, an appearance on the property pf Mr L. W. Lux ton, at Awakeri. Neither, as would be expected with such freak growth, are the mushrooms of midget size. One speci men, which excited some comment when exhibited in Whakatane on Saturday evening, measured - inches across, and it Avas just a sample.
