81-MONTHLY MEETING
THE WHAKATANE HARBOUR BOARD DISCUSSION IN COMMITTEE The bi-monthly meeting of the Whakatane Harbour Board was held the County Chambers on Friday with an attendance comprising: Messrs J. W. Sumner, Chairman, A. F. McGougan, J. A. Mitchell, C. T. Smith, G. A. Brabant, A. Brown, R. Ruddick; the Secretary, Treasurer, Mr C. G. Lucas, and the Consulting Engineer, Mr C. H. Brebner. Though the agenda was light tli? meeting was cne of two hours duration, the major portion -of the time being spent in committee w r ith discussion on the cost of living bonus of a five per cent addition to wages. The reports adopted included those of the Harbouramster, Consulting Engineer and Treasurer.
