McGARVEY.—On October sth 1940, at a Private Hospital, Auckland* Mary, widow of the late William Magnus McGarvcy of Wliakatane and dearly loved mo-' ther of Edgecumbe, Magnus, Eileen, Kathleen (Mrs G. M. Hassell), Trevor and the late Mrs B. Rowles; in her 72nd year. Funeral will leave her late residence 321 Grafton Road, at 3.30 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) for Waikumete Cemeterj r , Auckland.
