APPEALS
———♦ PROCEDURE OUTLINED FORMS AVAILABLE Reservists drawn, in the ballot for service with the Territorial Forces may appeal against their inclusion and the appeal, which must be made within ten days from Wednesday, ' October 2nd, the date of the Gazette notice, may be based on one or more of the following grounds:Appeal by the Reservist: (a) That wlien called up for service he was not a member of th*e Reserve, OR of the Division or Class called up. (b) That by reason of his occupation his being callied up for service is contrary to the public interest. (c) That by reason of his domestic circumstances his being called up for service will cause undue hardship to himself, OR to others. (d) That he conscientiously objects to serving with the armed forces. Appeal by employer, parent, dependant, etc.,:— • (a) That the calling up for service of the reservist will be a cause of UNDUE HARDSHIP to the appellant. (b) That by reason of his occupation his calling up for service is contrary to the public interest. Important. The Notice of Appeal must be posted or delivered to the Secretary of the Man-power Committee nearest the usual residential address of the man cialled up within ten days of the Gazette notice. The appeal forms a,re obtain;-" able at all Post Offices and the Man-power Committee for this district is located at Paeroa. Therefore appeals by, or on behalf of, the men in the Whakar tane area should be addressed to THE SECRETARY, AREA MANPOWER COMMITTEE, PAEROA
