BRIGHT FUNCTION

SUNDAY SCHOOL CONCERT COLLECTION FOR NEW HALL A concert was given by the local "Methodist Sunday School last Tuesday evening in the Methodist Oiurch., There" was a very good attendance of parents and friends who thoroughly enjoyed the various Items. In the course of the evening .Mr T. J. Hellyar (Supt) thanked all for their attendance and interest, and referred to the new Sunday School Hall which is now in the pro--cess of construction. A col'lection taken up at the concert resulted .in a fine response and a worthy contribution now goes toward the Sunday School Hall. Special thanks are due to Mrs Hellyar, Mrs G'oull and Miss A. Wallwork for their training of the chil•<dren for the concert. . The items were as follows: —Paper Dollies: Tiny Tots; Recitation: Dick Ward; Drill: Senior Girls and Boys; Hecitation: Margaret Coull and Bruce Dafvill; Marching Song: Small Boys; Recitation: Shirley Clark; A Play: "Pudding and Pie"; Recitation: Bob Darvill; Duet: Colleen Hansen iand Noeline White; Recitation: Yvonne Maliy; Darky Songs: Senior TBoys; Acrobatics: Shirley Clark; Cor net Solo: Len Broadmore; Recitation: Ray Abbott; Play: "Physician Boils An Egg"; Recitation: Des White; Theme Songs; Recitation: Bob Dar~vill 5 Des White,
