GIFTS OF CLOTHING

Supplies of clothing Pent to England by the Lady Gahvay Patriotic Guild are much appreciated by many of those who arc being rendered homeless and destitute by the German attacks from the air. The Guild headquarters in Wellington have received a cablegram from the High Commissioner in Lon don, Mr W. J. Jordan, in which gratitude is expressed for the cases of clothing received. It is stated the gifts arc being distributed through the Women's Voluntary Services in England to refugees and those suffering from the aerial' attacks. An urgent request that only good and sprviceable clothing should be sent is made in the vablegram,
