Pilots in the Making.
At one time, and not so very long ago, boys plaved 'Cowboys and Indians' in their leisure moments. There were variations of the general theme.of fighting and right prevailing over some considered form of might, such as 'Policemen and Burglars', and. since the inception of the United States Bureau of Investigation, popularised by many films, 'G-onen' held the imagination of the juvenile public. But the wai changed all that. Recently a BEACON representative was an interestjed spectator of a new game. Two ! lads, riding bicycles, played 'British fighters and German bombers.' The general idea was that he in the rear, having the role of the 'chaser' manoeuvred for a 'burst' and then let the 'bomber' have it. There was a deal of preliminary sparring for positions and then the 'fighter' said: "I'm on your tail. Ratt-ttttt-tttttt-atttatttt." It is a suggestion to the boys that they carry their game a stage further"and present communiques from 'British' and 'German' radio stations, SAVE MONEY by having your car painted at Armstrong and Co. Let us give you a quote for your car. '
