WAIOURU CAMP
NOT READY IN TIME WAIIvATO REGIMENT AFFECTED Owing to the fact that the Waiouru camp will not be available rji the proscribed date, October 1, provision is being made by the northern military headquarters for camps in various northern centres, including Rotorua, Whangarci and Hamilton. The arrangement of sites will lit', completed next week. The men will be in camp not less than a month, but until Waiouru is ready. Waikato units which were to encamp at Waiouvu on October 1 were headquarters and. B troop of the 7th Medium Battery, N.Z.A., and the Ist Battalion, 16th Waikato Regiment. The Battery is at present in camp att he Claudelands Showgrounds. Officers and N.C.O.'s of the Ist Battalion, Waikato Regiment, are undergoing a two months' course at Narrow Neck, Auckland.
