Apologies were received from the Taneatua sul> branch and Mesdames Boswell, Dixon, Kearns and Luxton. Tlie treasurer's report and balance sheet was read and adopted. The following officers were appointed: President. Mrs C. G. South ey; Secretary, Miss W. Thatcher; Hon Solicitor, Mr Buddie; Hon Auditor, Mr Good; Advisory Board. Dr. Appleby, Dr E. T. Dawson. Dr A. Ohope reported -that interest was increasing and the committee hoped the nurse, would continue her weekly visits. Rangitaiki: Mrs Caisley reported that the new. committee was working. enthusiastically. ; Taneatua appreciated the bi-week* Iv visits of the nurse. ' Opotiki 'expressed satisfaction of their financial position. - — It was agreed that a notice points ing out that 'plunket Avork was carreid on by voluntary subscription and asking those who appreciated: the work Io show their appreciation by becoming financial members by paying the subscription of 5s a year. With; a vote of thanks to Mrs Barry the meeting then adjourned.
