'SPITFIRE' FUND BENEFITS IMPETUS TO LOCAL FUND The list opened at the Beacon Office for donations towards the purchase of a 'Spitfire' 'plane by this district, should gain imr pctus as the result of a donation by Dr E. Tewsley Dawson and Mrs Dawson. Dr and Mrs- Dawson have subscribed £10 10s, a particularly fine gesture. The list reads:—
