Before the business was commenc- 1 «d members stood in silence in tri- 1 Kute to the passing of an old and walued member, Mrs Brunton, 1 It jvas decided to compete with a ( 'floral display at the forthcoming A Anglican Flower Show, Mrs Sims c --agreeing to take charge of the ar- 1 rangement of flowers, with the assistance of other members of the gardening eircle. * In connection with the annual , appeal for the Lepers, it was decided to r adopt the committee's recommcn'dation to have a stall at the Nov•ember meeting in aid of funds, and -.also to make a collection of suitable gifts on that day. The members decided to offer their services to the Red Cross Shop Com mittee, to take over and stock the ;shop for one day every three months when the support of all members :1s solicited. After the business of the meeting -was Concluded Mrs Lm Rangi rdad :an -amusing extract from "Pioneer Tales," and Mrs Luxton received Tiearty applause for her rendering *of the song "Sincerity."
