A TIGHT FIT
MILITARY RESERVE UNIFORMS i SOME HOPELESS TASKS An amusing as Avell as an annoying position has arisen in connection with the clothing equipment of the men in the Natioital Military Reserve stationed at Tauranga. The uniforms supplied for these men were made on Territorial lines, and it has been discovered that the rath--
er generous proportions of some of the members will not permit of the wearing of them. In some cases, perfect fits have been made, but in many instances the fitting into uniforms supplied has presented a hopeless task. Requests have been directed to Headquarters for suitable supplies, but the chart of measurements and the corresponding sizes of uniforms may still necessitate some of the men either relinquishing their activities with the Reserve or continuing in "civvies." Tauranga, however, is not the only place where such difficulties have arisen, many members of Die force at Napier having- been placed in the same predicament.
