H.M.A.S. SYDNEY "808-IN" FUND

In sending a contribution of one hundred shillings to the H.M.A.S. Sydney Presentation Fund which is being raised b} r The Citizens of Sydney. Organising Committee, Dr. J.. Grahame Drew., Metropolitan Medical Officer of Health,, wrote to the chairman, Aid. W. J. Bradley, K.C: "I have been privileged to have been a guest of the captain and commander ol the S\"dney on two cruises when it was clear to me that her crew was well disciplined, eager for good work and, above all, a happy family. The recent encounter with the Italian Navy and the glorious result was therefore, a .foregone conclusion." The donations are made in the form of "100 .shillings, fifty shillings 21 shillings, etc."
