ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING ELECTION OF OFFICERS A motion that the Annual Show be held as usual was carried unanimously at the annual general meeting of the Whakatane and Rangitaiki A. and P. Society, held in Whakatane. There was a fair attendance for the meeting, apologies being received from four members. In proposing the retiring president, Mr R. Rudclick, for re-election, Mr W. A. McCracken spoke of the splendid services rendered by Mr Ruddick over the last six .years. The motion was seconded by Mr A. K. Prince, with Mr W. G. Howat also a eliding a tribute to the retiring president's work for the association. Officers elected were:—Patron: Second Lieutenant A* G. Hultquist. M.P. President: Mr R. Ruddick. Vice-Presidents: Messrs W. .A. /"McCracken and W. G. Howat (re-elect-ed) . Treasurer: Mr F. B. Cutler (i*cappointed). Auditors: Messrs I'rideaux and Britiger (re-appointed).
