PUBLIC NOTICE WHAKATANE HARBOUR BOARD Pursuant to Section 8 of "The Public Bodies Leases Act, 1908" tenders are hereby invited! for thrr lease in one block of those pieces of land containing 1 rood 19.6 perches more or less being Lots Numbers 37„ 38, 39, 46 and 47 on a deposited plan Number 13036 (Auckland Registry) being part of Sections 1, 4 and 5 Block II Whakatane Survey District. CONDITIONS OF -TENDER. 1. Tenders shall be in writing addressed to the Chairman, Whakatane Harbour Board, Whakatane, and marked on outside "Tender for Leas?." 2. Tenders si all close on Wednesday the 2nd October, 1940, and the highest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. 3. Within one month after acceptance of tender the Lessee shall execute a lease in conformity with the subjoined conditions (which lease shall be prepared by the Board's Solicitor and the costs thereof shall be paid by the Lessee). MATERIAL CONTENTS OF LEASE. 1. The lease shall be for a term of 21 years Avith a perpetual right of renewal in accordance with the provisions of the first schedule of "The Public Bodies Leases Act, 1908." 2. The Lessee is to pay the rent half-yearly in advance and all rates. 3. The provisions usual in the Board's leases against assigning etc. and offensive trading, and for repairing and giving the right of reentry on default. C. A.
