MATATA ACTIVITIES MONTHLY MEETING HELD The monthly meeting of tlie Mat-, ata W.I. was held in the Presbyterian Hall, Mrs Caverhill presiding. Arrangements were made to hold the Annual Flower Show on 21st September, and a decision was made that the next monthly meeting will take the form of a Scotch afternoon.Competitions resulted: Eggless Cake, Mrs H. Withy 1. Vase of Flow crs in two colours, Mrs Schick 1, Mrs Ansell 2. Best Flower, Mrs Smith 1, Mrs Ansell 2, Mrs Schick 3. Afternoon tea was served by Mrs Ansell and Mrs Smith. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the hostesses, and also to Mrs Naumann for judging the competitions. <d : :i— • -
