Trout Liberation. Held back a week because of the heavy rains which flooded Bay of Plenty rivers, some 200,000 fry were liberated throughout the Bay during the week-end. Trout ova are still being procured in large quantities both at Tokaanu and Tarawera at the present time, 250 000 being collected at Tarawera last week and 260,000 at Tokaanu. These are to replace the fry sent out from the hatchery at Ngongotaha which numbered 2,000,000 on August 11. The second lot of ova, 350,000 in number, will be sent to Australia tin's week. 000000000000000000000000000000000000000
