MEN'S RALLY
CATHOLIC ASSOCIATION'S SOCIAL NOTE OF ENTHUSIASM Tire annual smoke concert of the Catholic Men's Association* held last Saturday evening in the Winter Show Buildings, drew a large attendance of members from Waimana, Taineatua, Whaiiatane and Edgecumbe, Many apologies for absence Were received. This enthusiastic gathering spent a very enjoyable evening with a pro gramme of songs, monologiTes Etndi ; speeches, many of the memibers expressing regrst at the lack of social life among Catholics of this district in the past, and' strongly appealing to the committee to organise- suitable functions whereby this need could be met in the future; Valuable suggesftions ; were noted by the secretary;
The gathering concluded, with a tone of hopeful enthusiasm.
