SOCIAL COMMITTEE MEETING A meeting of the above committee w r as held at the residence of Mrs Lord on Thursday evening. It' was decided to hold a Carnival Dance in the Otakiri Hall on September 12th,. details of which will be advertised later; and also a Social Evening com bined with sweets, cakes, and produce stalls on September 18th. It was also decided) to make a presentation to Second Lieutenant Guy Turnbull, of Otakiri, who is home on leave.
