CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS The following Qualified for the three championships:— Senior: Gradwick 160; Hyland 161; Roberts 163; . Powdrell 165; Rangi 171; A. Morpeth 171; Steel 172| Carter 173. Intermediate: Hill 175; Dawson 176; Herrold 178; Hutton 180; Mus- - sett 182; Bullard 184; Moore 185; L. B. Smith 186. Junior: Littlejohn 191; Reenberg 195; Norris 196; Savage 206; Standrin 20G; Grey 207; Dunning 218; Winsione 219. The Captain's prize was won by Dr Dawson, 142, followed by Hill and Hutton 145, Hyland and Littlejohn 147. The finals of the four Handicap Cup competitions have now been completed andl resulted as follows: Clarke Cup: Hill beat Powdrell. Reynolds Cup: Dawson beat Grey. Fortune Cup*: Rangi beat Hyland. Founders Cup: Carter beat Suclcling. The draw for the first round of the championship (to be played not later than the Ist September) is as follows:— Senior: Cradwick v Rangi/ Rob-, erts v Steel, Powdrell v Carter, Hyland v A. Morpeth. Intermediate: Hill v Mussett, Herrold v Moore, Hutton v L. B. Smith, Dawson v Bullard. Junior: Littlejohn v Standrin, Norris v Dunning, Savage v Winstone, Reenberg v Grey. On Saturday, August 24th a Stable ford Bogey match will be played. Players to choose own partners. Competitors are asked to note that the new system of stableford scoring will be used, players taking their strokes from the . course as they go.
