The estimated increase in the Borough's population following the inclusion of the Pa and Heads areas was stated by the Town Clerk, Mr D. V. Saunders, to be 114 Maoris andl 50 Europeans, when the subject was raised at the monthly meeting on Monday night. It was stated, in addition, that the number of dwellings of all descriptions increased the Borough total by 40. The estimate w r as made for the Government Statistician.
