THERE IS A RULE among agricultural engineers to the effect that if you multiply the 'width of the cut of your implement 0" feet) by the working speed ,of your tractor (in miles per hour) you will obtain the approximate number of acres you can cover in a ten-hour day.* _ Using this simple formula, you can easily calculate the , number of extra hours YOU are spending in the field every iayyvvith the animal or tractor power you are now using ... as compared with the speedy 4% miles per hour working speed of the Allis Chalmers.
