KHAKI BOUGHT FROM JAPANESE
Hundreds of thousands of yards of khaki drill have been ordered from Japan by the Commonwealth Government foi military suitings and tentings, the Minister of Supply, Sir Frederick Stewart, stated in Sydnej'. "Having exhausted completely the entire Australian and Empire resources of this material, avc were very very pleased to be able to get it from Japan, in view of the world shortage," said Sir Frederick.
