PUBLIC NOTICES MANAWAHE HALL RENEWAL LOAN AND SPECIAL RATE Notice is hereby given that, at a special meeting of the Whakatane County Council held on the 23rd clay of July, 1940, a resolution was passed by way of special order in connection with the raising of £170 Manawahe Hall Renewal Loan and the striking over the Manawahe Hall Renewal Loan special rating area of a special rate of one penny (Id) in the pound on the unimproved value of the rateable property in such area, such special rate to be for the purpose of providing inter-' est and sinking fund on the said renewal loan. A copy of the resolution above mentioned is deposited at the office of the Council, the Strand. Whakatane, and is open to the in-v spection of the public during office hours.
