A demonstration of Italian ' quilt and felt work, by Mesdames Matthews and Stewart followed and the Drama Circle presented a play entitled "Accidents Will Happen." Those taking part Avere: Mesdames ' Morgan, Albiston, Sutcliffe, Burgess ' and Grey. - ■ The stall on /Members' Day resulted in the sum of £1 12s 6d being raised, and this was added to and 1 brought up to £2 and donated to Air Force Relations. A letter of thanks was received from the ; Minister of Finance, Hon. W. Nashy for the loan of £200 for the duration of the war. Competitions: Best Flower, Mrs C King 1. Fudge, Mrs Larsen 1, Mrs ' Mo ran 2. MEETING AT OTAKIRI The August monthly meeting of the Otakiri W.I. was held in the , Otakiri Hall on Wednesday the preMrs Tickner, presiding over > a fair attendance.
