THE FIRE DANGER
THE OHOPE NATIVE BUSH REMINDER TO RESIDENTS With the coming of spring and the tendency of section holders at Ohope to put their properties hi order, there is a strong temptation to 'burn oil - ' dead growth and scrub. In the interests of the. preservation of the native bush at the beach, and with previous disastrous fires in mind we take this opportunity of reminding residents of the very real danger at Oliopc from fires, No fires should be lighted unless care lias been taken to ensure that there is no chance of the flames spreading or getting out of control.
