WELL KNOWN LOCAL FIRM A recent announcement to fanners indicates that the well known business of Gordon R- Kent and Co has now undergone a change of management. The agency and agricultural implement department is now con-< flue ted by Messrs J. E. Mussett and L. E. R. Littlejohn. The new business will continue the established agencies for the International Harvester Co. Ltd., and all McCormickDeering products. It will also act as the distributing agents lor the Atlantic Union Oil Company, for the County of Whakatane. Other lines include pig meals, stock licks, water and skim milk pumps, milk vats, and liquid cattle brands. A specialty service will be for farm separators. It is the intention of Mr Kent to retain his interest in the Herd Improvement activities, the Pig Council and the A. and P. Association. A separate suite of offices has been constructed and though trading under the old name the building will house two distinct businesses.
