MISHAP TO VESSEL
PROPELLER DAMAGED TAURANGA, Saturday. After completing discharge at the Railway Wharf yesterday the a.,s. Jriui Gladys was beached at Sulphur Appoint last night for the purpose of the propeller blades. During the last trip. Ihe vessel's propeller struck some submerged object, which damaged the blades to such an extent that the speed of the vessel was materially reduced. It is expected that the Lena Gladys "will be floated off on the next tide .and sail for Auckland.
