WHAKATANE'S VOLUNTEERS PUBLICATION ON MONDAY In Monday's issue will be included a list of those volunteers from Whaltalane and the surrounding districts who volunteered for service and wiho at the present time are serving with the Army, Navy or Aii\ Force overseas, are in camp,. 01} are waiting to be called up. It must be emphasised that in all 1 probability the list is incomplete, recording those whose enlistment was registered by the recruiting officer in Whakatane, Lieutenant C. A. Head, and those who enlisted at other centres may not be included. This applies particularly to Royal New Zealand Air Force recruits, who underwent medical examination by other than the medical board at Whakatane. To enable the list to be accurate an appeal i£ addressed to relatives and friejnds of those volunteers not included to forward the names. It is proposed to publish the list in. the neail future and the furnishing of the names within the next two weeks would greatly assists
