FORGETTING HOW TO READ * It is reported that an Enfield (Eng.) seven year old who has just returned home after spending the first seven months of the Avar in the country, has in that short period entirely forgotten how to read. This is interesting in view of the fact that there are still some hundreds of thousands of children missing from school. The National Union of Touchers points out that the new school attendance order does not cover children between live and eight.
