PUBLIC NOTICE MANAWAHE HALL RENEWAL LOAN AND SPECIAL RATE Notice is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Whakatane County Council held on the 23rd day of July, 1940, a resolution was passed by way of special order in I connection with the raising of £170 J Manawalie Hall Renewal Loan and I the striking over the Manawahe Hall Renewal Loan special rating area of a special rate of one penny (Id) in the pound on the unimproved value of the rateable property in 1 such area, such special rate. to be for the purpose of providing inters est and sinking fund on the said renewal loan. A copy of the resolution above mentioned is deposited at the office of the Council, the Strand. Whakatane, and is open to the in-' spection of the public during office — hours,. The resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Whakatane Connty 3 Council to be held at 11 a.m. on the 1 27th day of August, 1940, at the County Council Chambers. C.
