15,000 U.S. CITIZENS ENLIST j REPORT FROM CANADA A Canadian Air Force official stated that at least 15,000 United States citizens had applied to enlist, says an Ottawa message. It is not revealed how many were accepted, but the number is believed to be considerable. It is officially announced that suitable American candidates will be welcomed as volunteers in the; Royal Air Fore:', the Dominion and Colonial Air Forces or the Fleet Air Arm.
