UNDEFEATED RANGITAIKI WILL BE TESTED BY TE PUKE .SATURDAY'S SHIELD MATCH Saturday's Hurunui Shield clash between Rangitaiki and Te Puke, at Matata, should be worth goingj a long way to see. The Rangitaiki supporters who saw their representatives defeat Whakatane, Rotorua and Tauranga will probably be very confident that the Avinning sequence Avilli be continued, but Te Puke folloAvers, after seeing their elect prevail over the best that Rotorua and Tauranga could offer (in Parata Gup matches and forgetting last Saturday) Avill be equally sure of the outcome. Botli teams are undefeated this season and Saturday's game Avill) resolve itself into a battle of the giants. Football is an uncertain game and many factors, singly or combined, can affect the result. On paper Saturday's match seems to be an even break, but remembering that the game Avill be on Rangitaiki soil, and remembering also the decisive victory over Tauranga on the same ground less than a fortnight ago, to express it in turf parlance, most support may be forthcoming for Rangitaiki, especially if the team's major fault, offside play, has been corrected.
