. ! "WILL HAVE TO DISCIPLINE OURSELVES" , t ■ • 1 In a broadcast address last even-r ing, the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, appealed for unity in New Zealand. It Avas the time for a closing of the ranks, he said. "It doesn't matter what was said and done in the past, it is what is done now that counts.'" Stressing that unity was absolutely essential, the Prime Minister said: "It is wrong for any section of the commuriity to be singled out for attack by any other section, party or the newspapers." The Nazis had been able to ac-* cumulate their war material, not through gold, but through the ef- - forts of an enslaved people, said Mr Fraser, and it was up to us to. disciplirie ourselves and to work harder than the Na,'.:s ever had; to unite and work for victory.
