TO-MORROW'S BIG GAME THE BAY OF PLENTY TEAM The thoughts of all Bay of Plenty enthusiasts will turn to Gisborne to-morrow, when a reasonably strongßßar3 r fifteen will oppose tli'e pick of Poverty Bay. The maizegrowing province's representatives arc: —■ Skinner (Rotorua), Gooseman (Te Puke), R. Lees (Rangitaiki, Mitchell (Whakatane), M. Lees (Ran-; gitaiki), Lendrum (Opotikl), Moore (Opotiki), Haj'warcl (Whakatane), Mathieson (Rotorua), Bell (Taurariga), Woods (Rangitaiki), Whitely (Rangitaiki), Rauwhero (Roto- 1 rua),' Reuhe (Te Puke), Taniahod j (Rotorua). Emergencies: Morrison (Rotorua), Francis (Rangitaiki), Ngalai (Tauranga) with another forward to be selected. There has been some criticism of the selection, particularly the noninclusion of Murray, Tauranga forward, who played ia sterling game against Rangitaiki last Saturday and the inclusion of a comparatively inexperienced player in Woods. It is admitted that this forward turned on a splendid exhibition against Tauranga in the Hurunui Shield, and on that game was worth his place, but a very sound gam;e Was ad so played by T. Lees, and this player in many respects is tea be preferred. The selection of Mitchell, Whakatane, was apparently made on his reputation as so far this season lie has not come up to Bay representative standard. However, there is to bound to be criticism, but the team selected should do justice to the Bay of Plenty and a victory is confidently anticipated.
