CHURCH RAILINGS FOR SCRAP IRON
The Bishop of Gloticester (Dr A. C. Headlam) writes in the Gloucester Diocesan Magazine: — "I should like to draw attention to a suggestion made in The Times with regard to scrap iron. No tiling is mor'e unsightly in our Churchyards than the. iron railings we find in some places, generally rusty and decayed. Personally I should like to see all such things removed. In many ulaces there are iron railings round Churches in quite unneces(Continued foot next column).
