L. Biirnett, chairman, at -the conclusion .of the meeting held in the Winter Show Hall on Friday. Appearing for branches of the Farmers' Union, Primary Produce tidiiCouncil, Pig COuribilsj Pig Clubs, Young Farmers* Clubs, and allied organisations,' as well as individual farmers with no connections, the attendance was representative "of all districts in the Bay of Plenty from Opotiki to Te Puke. Addresses were delivered by Mr A. J. ward member on the Dairy Board and by Mr W. E. Hale, chairman of tjtie Dai,ry Board. Both were followed attentively and at the conclusion of their speeches questions were asked and answered! Followitig a suggestion by Mr Murdoch, the Primary Production Council was made the nucleus of a district ' committee, with power to add. • This committee will meet and will organise the meeting necessary for ihe formation of small sub-committees, for the various districts.
