PRODUCERS' REPRESENTATIVES NEW ZEALAND MEAT^PRODUCERS BOARD The Returning Officer announces that lie has received'the following nominations for the two vacancies for Producers' •Representatives- on the New Zealand' Meat Producers Board:—• James Begg (Sitting" M'ember) Dunedin. I. L. 3VI. Coop, Ataahua; Canterbury. . . T. A. Duncan (Sitting Member) Hunterville. The election will take place on the 30th August, .1940,. "when 1 the legates who will he elected to represent the various districts throughout the Dominion and who will constitute the Electoral' Committee, will assemble in Wellington to consider tlie Eighteenth Annual Report arid Statement of" Accounts of tlie Board and to elcct two Producers' representatives- oir the Board* As already advertised, nominations for delegates- to- the Electoral Committee close at the Board's Office at noon' cm the sth July, and a postal' ballot will then be conducted amongst the- sheepfarmers in the districts where the nominations are in excess- of the number of delef gates required. Consul's Departure Delayed. The departure from New Zealand of the former Italian Consul in Wellington, Signor B. d'Ac.unzo, and his wife has been delayed o\v-< ing to a change in shipping, ' but it is understood that arrangements arc in train for the Consul to leave at an early date. The Consul and his wife are at present in Auckland, having arrived last week, by arrangement with the Government, to
