ALLOCATIONS
BAY OF PLENTY INTERESTS RAILWAY AND NATIVE LAND SETTLEMENT Many important works have been provided for in the Public Works Estimates, which were presented, with the General Estimates in the. House of Representatives on Thurs-i day night. Under the heading of railway construction, a sum of £2000 is provided for the Taneatuar-Opotiki section and votes connected with the East Coast-Main Trunk amount to £398,000. Under native land development there is shown a vote of £190,000 for the Ray of Plenty schemes and, £60.000 for the East Coast.
