DANCE AT WAIOTAHI
A very successful dance was held |in the Waiotahi Hall on June 3rd, the proceeds being for Red Gross funds. Music was supplied by the Kit Kat orchestra, with an extra by Mr A. Wardlaw. Monte Carlos j were w r on by Miss Watson -and Mr Looney. A competition was won by Mr J. Inskip, and the duties of M.C. were carried out by Mr R. Looney. After a dainty supper had been served, dancing was continued. Among those present were: Mesdames Watson, V. Wilson, N. Clayton, J. Anedrson, H. Ashdown, H. Toone, P. Looney, W. Looney, A. Gate, H. Eason, A. Rau, Wagner, L. Carruthers, McKinnon. Misses B. Du Pontet, A. Ruff, M. Doran, N. Clayton, K. Jephson ? N. Anderson, H. Eason, A. Erskine, B. Carruthers, M. Humphrey, J. Neilson, M. Bruce (Gisborne), M. War ] law, D. Gate, K. Schweiteis.
